This project is supporting the creation of a Mukungule Community Nature Conservancy (MCNC) in Zambia and its affiliated budding enterprises aimed at creating a sustainable local economy. We are also exploring the challenges and learning from cross cultural collaboration. It grows out of a series of Exchanges on this topic led by Marc Tognotti.

Title
Villager’s Drawings: Symbols for each Conservancy Activity Program
Content
We asked each Conservancy team to discuss its team's vision and purpose. Then we invited all of the members to draw a symbol representing that purpose.  Here are the simple drawings that they came up with.  (I'm also adding a drawing of an axe, a hoe and a hut that came from discussion of symbols of status in the village.) The teams will continue to develop and refine how they understand their purpose and how they represent what they do in images and other media. Note: Each .pdf file includes a series of images -- photos taken of the different team-members' contributions. Marc July 2018
